no evidence of a CIB, his Korean War draft card on ancestry noted his prior service in wwii was Cav. 

Hello, does it have matching inspectors' initials on the pommel cap as well as the drag of the scabbard. I have found Ames to be well marked with inspectors' initials on all of the main parts. The proportions are pretty good however the Ames mark and a few details seem off to me? Does anyone know if "House of Swords" made copies of the Ames M1860 Cavalry Saber?

Maybe something in 361st Fighter Group as most insignia had lightning bolts?

He could of been in the 475th Infantry of the MARS Task Force, is there evidence of a CIB there? Also interesting the wear of the old Pistol Marksmanship badge from the 20s,

So, pretty interesting, his discharge does show he was awarded both the PH and BSM and even lists the GO numbers, however he isn't in either of them.

In my notes I had Superior Auto Parts, Duluth cleaning rods 1944.  However, I tried to google it and cannot find any matches to confirm my notes.
