Does anyone have any good ways to repair it or should I just get a modern one to use ?

Evidently it's a permit for driving on the beach for fishing. Apparently they only allow a limited number of permits per year to prevent to many vehicles on the beach. 

Here is my contribution to jeeps on things. Here is a license plate from the state of Delaware I saw the other day. It’s not military related, but it’s a jeep nonetheless. No idea what or why, but it’s a nice design.  mikie

I was browsing around on International Military Antiques and stumbled across this really interesting 101st Airborne Division Patch. I am not too familiar with the value of patches from this particular division or what they usually sell for but very interested at the same time. What do you guys think, is this a fair price for a patch like this?

These come from Texas. I spy plenty of stuff here. 

Gear Fanatic glad you found this.   I think they are for all amphibious engineers.   They trained at Fort Ord and the one book has this in it.   And the Ord map giving as little information as to what was going on there.
