Do you have any information on your friends relative. Salty doesn’t translate to in country it could be a NG cover. More information on the vet is key. Both were repainted and named to Capt Roy D Metcalf O-277096. They originally were Medical Chests No.1 and the other unnumbered. Anyone care to research the Captain? -
