It doesn't look like the mounting points for the single or duel towlines for the CG-4As. -

These 2 patches seem to be from the late 1970s. What do you think? -

Hi, I used the forum not long ago and got a fabulous response so I'm wondering if I'm able to get another one. We found this item at near the old WW2 Ramsbury Airfield in England and we believe it is a towing mechanism for either a Waco or Horsa glider. It's quite heavy and the 'wheels' are about 4" diameter. I've been trolling through videos and websites but can't quite work out exactly where it's used. Cheers, Janine -

Hello all, im Retired US Army 12B SPC Joshua Bacon. I live in New England, RI specifically. I recently acquired a US Marine Mameluke, it's a full set. Including saber, scabbard, sock, and leather carry case with matching hin initials. It's markings tell that it is from 1956-1959 sn 322 ns meyer conquer make. The name on the blade is Samuel W. Whittemore. I do not have dob or service #. Im looking for information of his service. I did see a 2 1935 birth of a Samuel W Whittemore in Massachusetts, same area as revolutionary war Captian Samuel Whittemore. Is there a way to see if he is a descendant?
