Hi Pete, I only have one B-10 but i am proud of it... During one of our visits to Normandy, we stopped by your shop and had the chance to admire your collection of B-10 jackets. Very impressive! The tag is for Dann Clothing Co, contract W30-053 AC 971 which was awarded March 44 and completed June 44 with a quantity of 24,733 delivered. -

Thanks! 😊 The switch I have now has a plastic knob, but I'll look around for a metal one. -

Hi Ken, I'm going to take a stab at guessing but others may be better at it than I. I'm saying it's a vintage Vulcan lighter from 1950s-60s. -

Well worn Vulcan case with Zippo guts. Really has some character. Anyone have any thoughts on era on this one? I'm guessing 1950s. Thanks Ken -

My mother, God rest her soul, was a professional librarian with a masters in library science. She was a librarian her entire working career and collected books during that time in hopes she could some day open a bookstore. Her last job was Head Librarian at the Flagstaff, AZ Public Library. She had an uncanny ability to know almost every author, the title of their books, what they were about, as well as their value in the marketplace. When she retired she and my step-father moved to Yuma, AZ and she did open a bookstore called Bandana Books. She not only had a superstore-size collection of out-of-print books but a sizable collection of 78 records and sheet music, as well as a huge collection of antiques. Anyhow, my mother would always be on the lookout for military books she thought I'd like and ship them to me in Okla City. Books are heavy and shipping was not cheap. The book below is one of the books that she sent me. I apologize for the long story but pretty much all the military books I have she sent to me over many years so she deserves much credit. Love you Mom! You were the best! -
