Further digging unearthed his CIB orders:  

HIs service number is 35833764. He was assigned and joined Co K 363rd IR in Italy during Nov 44. I tried to locate his CIB orders, but the 363rd IR G.O.s seem to be incomplete. USAAF WW2 Tan Top US Army Air Force Officer Visor Cap with Eagle USAAF. Can you advise on ID and cap maker? Makers numbers M.F.G. posssibly, Initials CFC dated 1944?
