"592" refers to N.S.Meyer manufacture. The Pattern is a 1960 Officer's Cap EGA.

I totally agree with Patrick.  It also seams odd to me that neither of these appear to actually have a Meyer hallmark.   Marty

I can't see what those khaki straps look like, but these packs were made to buckle into model 1944 or 45 suspenders which as far as I have ever seen are OD in color.
