Does anyone know who owns this group now? I just bought a grouping that was owned by the previous owner of the Waller Group and some of Waller's medals got accidently sold with the group I bought. I circled Waller's medals. You can see them in the original photo. -

Believe it was 1-127th Armor. Or at least they were added to the 42nd in 1975. -

Thank you so much. I didn't realize that guide was that inaccurate. Any suggestions on a better guide? -

Marine Corps34, Early on during Vietnam, there were a select few Colt marked M7 bayonets, but for a display representing the vast majority of GIs for 1968, the makers you would find are Milpar (which was the first Army contract M7), Conetta, which was contracted in 1966, and BOC. (Bauer Ordnance Co.). BOC made the most M7s, but didn't issue their M7 until October 1968, so it may not be a candidate for what your looking for. Here's a pic of the very common BOC. Note the gap in the grip behind the cross guard. That is very common on many if not most M7s you'll find. Marv -

A 42nd Division one, though they tend to wear the Pocket Patch above the Tape in this division, unit could be the 1st Squadron 101st Cavalry or the 1st Battalion 142nd Armor pre 1975, 142nd Armor redesignated 242nd Infantry, can't find what armor unit replaced it oddly. -

What type of plane was your father on, that is if he was on a plane? Lt Col Rice was on a B-29 first and then a B-47.
