Here is the stuff I bought in that group.  What is his, or us even correct, I don't know.  I THOUGHT the footlocker was his!  Obviously NOT..... POW Trinidad Colorado?  No.  That was a camp where they kept a lot of the higher and nasty Germans.  So.. I definately made a faulty memory mistake there.  And, thought you all here woukd enjoy the error.   Off subject.  I did pick up a 'dismounted' US raincoat marketed POW.  In its pocket was a movie ticket stub.  Trinidad 'Kino' .. Movie theater.  A pow ticket to the camp movie theater.         Oh, the binoculars look like they were painted over in spots <eye end especially> with thick dark paint haphazardly.  Protect from reflected like?    Any and all input is welcome.  I'm a noob and ignorant.

This is a short post.  A think I got this because I like Mexican Border related items but more specifically because this was from my home state Arizona.

I have no provenance but these first two ovals are the ones I have listed in my photo reference of ovals as the ones worn by the 139th Airborne Engineer Battalion (Photos 1 thru 4).   These other ovals I have listed for the 326th Airborne Engineer Battalion (Photos 5 thru 10).

Hello everyone, I found these medals overseas in an Asian flea market, I picked up both of them for right at $100. Unfortunately the bronze star is missing the suspension. I don't really know too much about US medals and orders, is there any way to tell what era these are from? Thanks!

If yours is a woodland pattern suit, when I got mine I simply cut the entire charcoal layer behind, leaving only the fabric behind. Mine was brand new in the package.   If you want I can take pictures of mine.

No idea about the hallmark but I kept  photos of another pair of these sweetheart glider trooper ear rings which look US made but I have listed as being made in Asia.   Maybe they started off as US made miniature glider trooper wings which were later made/modified by a jeweler into ear rings in the orient.  I don't see any hallmarks on the ear rings in these photos.

I've got a US army 1980s NBC jacket and pants. I only bought it for collection purposes therefore I don't mind the fact that it will loose it's chemical protective factor, which I was already told that it's expired when I was buying it. The seller claims that they have washed it before but there's still some charcoal left in the pants and at the tip of the arms of the jacket which I want to clean easily. Is there a way I could clean the suit without damaging the fabric? I mean it's already used to so it is pretty damaged actually but I just don't want the outer layer to fade and/or get any charcoal stains. Should I wash it? If so how? (Could it damage the washing machine somehow?)   I have already seen in another forum that people have been talking about ripping the charcoal part off. Y'all think that's doable or just an even worse idea?

I purchased this mess kit years ago and loved the detail on it.  I reckon between meals a cook who is a skilled artisan has some time for some etching.  That, and I collect 40th Infantry Division items from WWI through the Korean War.                                         Other documents like Naturalization Record, Full WWI U.S. Army Transport Records, and misc. documents.     40th Division_4Theodore Kutrukis.pdf
