. Hi Peter, There really is an amazing load of stuff still hidden away either buried or sat in barns, lofts and attics. I simply could not record and post everything I do hear about. Norman D. Landing, Forum Normandy Correspondent, June 13 2O25. …. -

The beanie appears to have a membership badge for the MOC auxiliary, the Cootiettes, pinned to it just below the No 417. Perhaps a husband and wife here? -

. From my collection shoe-box. This post is not really connected to this years anniversary as such other than that almost every serviceman carried this style of flashlight . These were made by a variety of manufacturers each with slight differences as can be seen in the box of surplus flashlights I once bought back in the day !!!! These took a LOT of cleaning and I didn't keep all of them. In hindsight what I should have done was to clean an example of each manufacturer and variation and record them, hard though when you are trying to earn a living. These are ones I currently have on display in one of my cabinets. The first one the Brass TL-122 does not have a suffix letter, The TL-122B has an unusual switch that's ball-bearing operated, the TL-122C is original new old stock and the protective coating has dried out to something similar to a white wax and falls away easily with gentle use of a finger-nail. Cheers Ken. That's a Miniature "Pre-Anniversary" model Speed Graphic. Made from the mid '30s to 1947. And what appears to be a 1920s a Kodak Folding Pocket Brownie. -
