Back in the 90's there was a Civil War event I think somewhere near Cloudcroft. Five or six of us from Lubbock (going to Tech at the time) went to this event multiple times. Easier than driving 600 miles to Pleasant Hill or 700 to Vicksburg -

I am a midwesterner that has been collecting antiques and militaria for 32 years and goin' strong. I bought my first military item at an auction, a WW1 soldiers bible when I was 12 and I have been hooked ever since. I am not an expert and will never claim to be. I don't believe the term expert can be claimed by anyone these days. Hope to share some cool stuff about history and learn just as much from you all. I hope to keep the fire burning. Later! -
