No not unless you have the dial unit.  The PBX sees a standard LB field phone as a constant off hook and will error the line out.  The dial unit has a hook switch that controls this.  The FF63 has two binding posts inside the cover.

Hey, I’d like to invite others to post their identified pins.   It’s typical to find them but without any real way to confirm the initials. I picked up my first pin recently. A KIA from Italy, his medal, and the mother pin. The initials SMH do match his mother, Sadie M. Hanscom. I did order his file to see if matching paperwork exists. I’m also slightly curious about the smaller S at the beginning of the engraving. But again, post those ID’d engravings, let’s compile them.   Thanks.    

So I recently picked up theses beautiful Ww2 Sterling Silver Naval Air Crew wings made by Gemsco. However what has me stumped is it also says usmc ser 298 on them. I have never seen that before and didn't know if these were awarded to certain individual or if it means it was a early production or something. Any help is appreciated. 

I found your vet listed among the 303rd Bomb Group personnel for training in 1944 on the nara site. Seems he was involved in aviation ordnance
