Looking at a Camillus M# on Ebay. Like the looks of the knife but have one question on the hilt pins. Are they original? Any help would be appreciated. -

Slicing through a propeller! Totally 100% accurate and would definitely work 🤣 -

For the rusting filter I'd recommend simply vacuum sealing the filter to prevent further degradation mainly because rust is a result of the exposure of water and metal to oxygen and air. -

Gordon Rottman authored several books about weapons in Vietnam. They are in the Osprey series of booklets on weapons. I don't know if modified or cut down weapons during the Vietnam war has been a specific focus, but I know that it certainly happened. Best of luck with your project. -

Hello everyone! (Hopefully I chose the right thread...) I am currently writing a university thesis about american and allied firearms modifications during Vietnam War (e.g. jungle style magazines, sawn-off RPDs, scopes etc.) and am looking for books and/or publications about said subject. So far I know there's some information about it in vietnam firearms books and diaries from the era (e.g. Nick Brokhausen's books) but I was wondering if anyone made any publication specifically about this subject. Thanks in advance for all the answers! -

Do you know if I need a specific model? Are they mostly interchangeable? Can you show me a few search terms to use, or any current ebay listings that may work? Thank you so much for your time. -

There are a bunch of components inside that white mouthpiece. That dialer unit actually communicated with a Secure Switch in board the Germans used in the 1970s and 80s that would indicate secure or non secure connections. -

I saw this recipe sheet at a flea market the weekend before last. I decided not to buy it but took a couple of photos. My doctor doesn’t want me eating potatoes anymore so I didn’t want the temptation. Bon appetite! mikie
