True. The Hahn wing doesn’t have the CAA-WTS on the rim. But that makes sense if the Hahn wing was from 1940 (prior to the entry of the US into the war) and the formation of the War Training Service. the other wings include CAA-WTS so they would have been made no earlier than 1942 -

Please keep the original ribbon on it, a very nice find and one I’d be very happy with. May your luck continue, stuff really is still out there floating about. -

That's what I am thinking but I am not sure. It would make sense since they are also sterling silver. -

AGO G2 sounds like a post war contracting thing, early 50s? -

The die Heath has is not for any of the wings shown in this thread. I also see subtle differences between Russ' wing and the one currently on ebay. -

I thought, after looking through everything available on the net, what we are seriously missing on the Faciat Georgius medal - is close-ups, details of these medals. We see this for other medals and badges, but not this one for some reason. It's almost taboo. I'll start the ball rolling. Here are close-ups of a supposed George Medal. One feature that seems to be necessary on a real example is the 'phantom cactus' that should be in the background between the two cactus shoots on the left. Also of note, the 'injured' or line-indented top knuckle of the Navy hand. Enjoy!
