Looks fine to me, mine has a carry strap like yours but only thinner. It originally came in a grouping from a chindit, not sure how he would of come across it or even if he picked it up after the war. -

Bodes, Thank you very much for your reply. I have been trying to figure out more about this round. Apparently, they were retrofitted on ships post WWI and built prior to WWII. I have found several 37MM, 40MM and larger rounds over the years. I haven't seen this one in 50 years of seeing "stuff" and greatly appreciate your reply! I'm just trying to learn about something I haven't encountered before. Thank you again! OD -
