I realize a very old thread, but for those that are researching items: Yale Suspender Belt Co. NY, NY had contracts for Made pistol belts, Leather belts, Belt kits, Straps, Liner bands, Helmet Liner Bands I have no idea if they also made shirts, but they did make other items like slings -

I've used sleeves from "We R Memory Keepers" which come in different pocket sizes and are pvc and acid free. They can be found on Amazon and Ebay. They also make faux leather binders that are decent quality - better than the cheap ones you normally find at an office supply store. -

Not all in country helmet sets were salty. as stated by others on this post, some helmets were not used very often. Most bring back sets were bought back by officers. Lt. Richard Holt with the 633rd combat sport group. 69-70.   Pictures are from Russ when he was selling it. -
