1st Battalion would be flamethrowers and demolition, 2nd Battalion would be shore party and 3rd Battalion would be a USN NCB- that is the T O and E for the USMC 17-20 Marine Regiments which were engineering regiments.    Kurt

The 110th FA unit history indicates that Battery E did exist when the 110th FA Regiment entered Federal Service on 3 Feb 41.
