When the UIM returned it was Black and of uniform size and length, the pre 75 UIMs were based on unit length and size and generally in Navy Blue also the construction went from cut edge to merrowed edge. -

TY, this must have been early in his (31 year) career at this time he may have been working his way toward Blackhawk crew chief. Were was this unit in the mid to late 80,s?
