      Thank you for your detailed reply on this, knowing you're avid collector of items and student of this organization.   On the ghosting of that large oval like patch, wonder if there was one for this unit there in Nam that maybe can be matched up with?

      10 year old subject, but here are a couple killer 3rd PI RPPCs I've added to my collection in the last year. Both have crossed axes over the 1st Army insignia, which I am not seeing in my yard long of Company C of the same unit.

      Looks like a nice original LATE WW2 US M-1 Schlueter (mfg) front seam, swivel bale helmet. Nice life preserver too! Congrats
