You did an excellent job on the figures, Manny! They look awesome. Really looking forward to seeing them united with the gun and the platform. Great work! Lars -

That's some good stuff. I see several WW2 units that were short-lived or never left the US. Those can be difficult to track the history on those. The 757th trained guards, policed, and watched POW's at Camp George West, CO. The unit never left the US, but several still got "overseas service" and ribbons, as teams were organized and sent to North Africa to collect POW's, and escort them back to Geo. West. The 772nd cadre was trained at the LAPD Academy, and sent to guard the massive Boeing plants in Washington. The DUI was unofficial, until approved in 1951. -

Where did you get all of this info? Wow :( These are standard AN6530 goggles with dual cushion vs single cushion. Used by both: NAVY and AAF flyers with ALL types of helmets during the war. For A-11 they will work as well... -

Well you sort of have the 322nd, but you also have the 744th MP Bn. The 744th trained at Ft. Sam Houston, but saw service at Ft. Lewis and Hanford, WA. (Yes; The Hanford site that made "heavy water"). It had it's companies deactivated over 1944-1945, but the Bn. HQ somehow ended up deploying to the Pacific, got battle credits for Leyte and Luzon, and was deactivated in Japan in 1946. It was reflagged as the 322nd MP Bn. (OR) in Wilkes-Barre, PA from 1947-1952. In 1953, it was again redesignated the 744th (on paper), even though it would not see reactivation until 1991. (Moved to Bethlehem, PA, keeping the lineage, but changing to a different DUI.) I was never sure of the 391st DUI, as I could never find a 391st MP being active or any MP unit having that motto or DUI. -
