Found this bag at a thrift store I'm almost 100% positive this is a theater/Afghanistan made sling bag. Made from some type of dcu camo ripstop material. Its got 3 pockets on the front with embroidery and one small pouch on the shoulder strap. Its got quite a bit of room on the inside, unfortunately one of the buckles are broken. But that would be fairly easy to fix. When I looked inside the middle compartment on the front. I actually found a receipt from Walmart dating January 18th 2001. The Walmart still stands today in Boise Idaho and the phone number is still active. Looks like they bought cracker jacks for 0.88 cents and a twin sword for $14.82, don't know what a twin sword would be. -

Another great looking build, Lars. Your weathering and color technique really set these apart from many in the detail and realism that your models portray. Thanks once again for sharing another great build to us who so admire you and others talents on this forum. -

hello, I do work for a well-known dealer. I do like the overall look of this. As it has already been mentioned; this needs to be examined in person. Another thing to think about. We had one come into the shop, and it was 'right'. However, something seemed off and we could not put our finger on it. We had it x-rayed. It turned out the wreath was real, but it was broken in three pieces and expertly 'pinned' together. And the repairs had been camouflaged to deceive. So, I would double check for repairs as well. Assuming it is good. Cheers! -

Previous thread I found on the forums about jump school helmets, https://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/319357-what-do-the-numbers-on-a-jump-liner-mean/ -

Newest helmet acquisition, Vietnam Era to 70s? M1C, helmet with P64 airborne liner. Shell was originally "apple green" color, it's been repainted darker stenciled in blue with number: "413" on front and back of shell. The Heatsamp number is worn and hard to make out. The liner has no mold markings or info, All contact and, date info on the webbing/sweatband is faded. No markings on the buckle hardware. The helmet band has cateyes and is marked on one side with the name "BERUNG"(?) the other side of the band is humorously marked with the Phrases: "kick me!" "Bonehead" "101st Wimp!".
