I use my WPG roughouts all the time. Mostly for hiking and dirt bike riding. The leather quality is pretty decent and it wears very similar to originals. The rubber soul is very soft though and has worn down very quickly. I have a set zig Type 2’s and German low boots I also wear frequently. Plus some junk boots I wear in the summer for snake season. The leather has stopped me from getting bit twice. Both by bull snakes thankfully haven’t had to put them to the test against rattlesnakes.

@Misfit 45 and @Rhscott Thank you so much for the useful information. It has the A of the British markings very close to the hilt, about 7 mm below the U.S (the dot after the S is not visible).  In looking for the British markings, I noticed a 23 under the eagle - the stamp of the inspector I think? And, the eagle has a tongue - a strange extra detail in such a small stamp. Was the eagle used for other things?

I’m still searching for this contact maker for my WWII klaxons! Also have these intercoms in my collection from large ships 1943 dated if anyone is interested.

Agree with Skiph on this one, id say $300 might be a bit on the high end though. Id like to of seen better images of the blade condition, but it certainly isn't terrible from what I can see and the sheath is original to the knife and the correct type as far as I am aware.  Clearer images of the blade itself would be great, make him an offer and you might get lucky.

Probably some kind of Sweet Heart jewelry, looks like an Air Force cap badge with this unusual wreath.    Is there an organization that uses such a wreath?

Hello Chuck, Devil dog head is in bronze and It hides the tap of a fountain. It was already there in a farmyard when the battle took place. The Germans occupied the farm and when they filled their canteens they compared the Marines to this "devil dog". Yes there is a memorial in the wood

It is THE Dog, at the farm in Belleau. If you ever make it to France, this as well as the battlefield and U.S. Cemetery are all more or less joined together, in proximity to the village. There is a cool little museum across the road from the Dog fountain.

Google Lens pulled up this but I'm not sure it's correct.  At least it found something.   https://lindamaemilitaria.com/product/rare-u-s-waac-womans-army-auxiliary-corps-military-police-armband/

Sweet! I really like the Flood patch. We were here for that. The Lincoln AFB one of mine is for the same thing. I'll have to see if I can find that one you have.
