Hello all, here’s a nice early US Army Mexican Service medal I forgot I had, as it was in a box of miscellaneous WWI period medals, mostly WWI Victory medals. Glad I decided to do some digging. Mexican Service, Army, No. 5743 Since I do not have access to the official government medal lists, may  I please ask my fellow Forum members and friends here  if they have the government number lists to determine who this hero of may have been? Name? Hometown? Unit/rank? Thank you all in advance for any help that may be forthcoming as I would love to put a name to the  soldier who earned this award. 

I also have to ask how you got the crimped-on pointed windshield off without damaging it?.....Bodes

Acquired this group awhile back I'd do a write up but this newspaper article I will attach does a pretty good job talking about his service. The article also mentions both foreign decorations pictured in this group.
