I am in the middle of inventorying my collection and this SSI is on a uniform that my little brother gave me a long time ago. The tag is very worn and there is no evidence of his enlisted wings. He is no longer with us so I cannot ask him so I simply need an ID on this patch TY in advance.

That’s the problem with using eBay as a pricing guide. People use active unsold auctions for pricing. Not you, In just saying you have to use completed auctions and cross reference those prices with worthpoint and see if you can figure a correct price. Minus eBay fees and state and federal taxes of course which as an eBay seller I can tell you are exorbitant.  

Italian stuff has never been very desirable, not sure being an unpublished photo of him increases the value at all.  I have numerous photo albums with unpublished photos of movie stars and public personalities, they aren’t valuable at all and Mussolini isn’t really well liked, I’m thinking maybe 10-15 dollars. 

Thanks for your input. I had never seen one either.  I saw one on an auction with blurry pics and it looked like it may be ok. But then I noticed it had the od loops. I ended up passing on it cause the only ones I could find with the id loops was a newer one. But just wanted to be sure. Thanks again.

Do you have a hat with a od loop?  Could be a field repair or replacement
