This surfaced at a family member's estate some years ago in Charlevoix, Michigan. Named to Leroy F. Gerard. The group includes his jacket (named tag in pocket) and his visor cap. Additionally, a page from a photo album that has a 3x5 of Gerard by a plane and, on the back side, 4 smaller pictures two of which are in Brest, France. So far, no luck researching him, but I'm just getting started. On the tag with his name I also see very faint inked markings that look like "CO. H Rosenthal Camp Funston, Kans." Maybe younger eyes than mine can confirm that. -
