Gear Fanatic glad you found this.   I think they are for all amphibious engineers.   They trained at Fort Ord and the one book has this in it.   And the Ord map giving as little information as to what was going on there.

SAFE-CONDUCT PASS.  VIETNAM

I picked this one up from an auction a while back, but haven't had the chance to share it.    Its a beautiful 101st Ike with initials (CJK) and laundry mark (K-9588). Thankfully his good conduct medal is named. (Charles J Kadlec). Super honored to have this one in the collection. Unfortunately, I haven't found any information on him.

Thank you for the response. It honestly makes me hopeful. But if the package was stolen I doubt it will be turned back in. No honor amongst thieves im sure. But it does give me hope that one day it will resurface whether online or through the Post Office investigation that I have inquired about. Its really funny but even when I call the exact Post Office no one seems to want to pick up the phone. Ive called a fair amount over the past couple days. Its gotten to the point where someone on the other end picks up the phone for a second and immediately hangs up. Its super frustrating and completely unprofessional

No luck on the security cameras. I had asked that the first day they told me. They only have a couple and of course inconveniently none of them are pointed to the parcel lockers my package was left inside.
