I'm thinking it's a post-war reproduction. The very few times I've seen a genuine captured VC flag up close, they were silk and look like they'd been through the wringer (understandable given the tropical environment and being lugged through the jungle). -

Even most of vet-bring backs are “fake”, as they were a very popular souvenir and many were made in VN during the war for sale to GI’s. -

I figured they were all fake because I couldn't find any pictures that were taken during the war, and if these were real, why are there no similar flags in pictures or museums? most definitely fake in my opinion. -

Its a bit complicated, id say the single piece with ''thin 11'' is war time with the one on the far right being occupational period (I believe), the middle being post war. I could be wrong though. -

The guy it background has a very strange gun. Apparently bent barrels are normal. Also look at the size of the camera in the other jeep. -
