I've had a lot of Offutt related over the years. The best way to see them is go here: http://usmilitarypatches.com/gallery/index.php?cat=2 Click Search, then enter Offutt and click Base on the menu. Over 825 Offutt related patches. Enjoy! Randy -

M1 liners were initially contracted to the Philadelphia Quarter Masters Depot.. Then in 1942 they were moved to Chicago. Relevant PDF linked here https://qmmuseum.army.mil/research/primary-sources/WWII/Development M1 Helmet Liner/3- Chapter II.pdf I would guess that this chinstrap was made at the Depot in Philadelphia ? -
