Wow thanks! Both wounded in action. I appreciate the help. That makes four men killed in action/DOW and at least five others wounded in action. Quite the hard fighting unit. I wish we knew who this bill originally belonged to - I have to imagine he didn't sign his own short snorter. Thanks again! -

. Well yes it did King Charles today . . .. actually not so much as it did Saturday that was heavy thunder, lightening and rain. The attached photographs will show the rainfall today yes I was out in the Jeep in it, the waterproofing I sprayed the Jeep with four years ago and is still working as evidenced in these photos Norman D. Todays mail call is this set of bomber wings. My first set of bombers, I think they are a bit unusual from others that I have seen in pictures. They measure 3 1/8 " wide, and weigh 16.78 grams without the clutches. What I think is unusual the that the bomb device is separate and made of copper. All of the ones Ive seen in pictures have a silver bomb device. Also, there seems to be a worn/ground down spot on the wing just to the right of the bomb, as seen in the pic. Any and all comments and observations welcome! John -

Sure! Yours may add to the knowledge base. The information red seems to be about the packaging material and method. As you probably have read in the linked thread, there is a debate whether AN represents a location or an organization. -
