THe ones for water were different on the old metal cans I recall. THey had a different locking cap that sealed and were painted white on th einside. Also had a W mark on them where the fuel had a G and a screw cap. -

Wild unit crest there LOL, wondering what the correlation is with MPs with a a monster, like what an ugly giant, standing in flames holding aloft a train; like he's going to destroy it LOL Motto vincit qui primum gerit by the way translates The one who wears it first wins., question of course is wears what, what the train is going to be worn around the giants neck like a necklace LOL -

Could be a Pattern knife. These are made by various unnamed folks by copying a common knife and marketing it as a "type." There are a lot of Pattern knives made after the PAL RH36 out there. -

I have been thinking about setting up a WW2 Public Address system for a while now so i can play old time music and radio shows at events. I saw a film years ago when troops in R&R were entertained only in a small group where music was played from a record player into a microphone out on a PA system. I was looking at MX -39A turntable AN/TIQ-2B Amplifier and cone horn speakers on stands. But after looking up this is Korean war 1951 not WW2. Any one know what was used during WW2 and any information. -

U.S. Army Brigadier General wool bunting flag with cotton star, canvas header, and leather pole tabsBy Wildcatvet · Posted
Doing more research, I believe the flag is from the 1950s or early 60s. The military stopped using wool and began using synthetics in the later 60s. -

I don’t believe you are correct. The Vietnam flag has a yellow star. Although the lighting may not be the best in my photos, the star on my flag is white. -
