Doing a scale model of this piece and I was wondering if that piece was really just one color (olive drab) like EVERYWHERE. All pictures I see are like just either Olive Drab or Green/Grey. But everything is that color. Was it really like that in the war? Most everything online is either a museum piece or some yard piece at a Veterans Hall. Not too many out there showing the actual combat since color photos and film was relatively new too expensive for war correspondents. Thanks for any input. -

Earlier on this thread I had posted this lighter: Recently I became aware of the same lighter on eBay, but with the wording in Vietnamese: Unfortunately, I don’t think that this is an authentic President Thieu lighter. Here’s the Vietnamese version I found on Wordpress: I think you can see a major difference in quality between the two lighters, especially with the central seal as well as the overall engraving quality. I believe this last/bottom version is an authentic one. -

How big is it? That's really cool. I've seen GAR and Confederate grave markers for sale on ebay in the past. -

I recently sold 5 of the WW2 era bandoleers. The WW1 dated can be harder to find and may still have a couple. Also had a couple with the 30-40 Krag ammo in. Have one WW2 with enblocs I have kept fro, the DM ordnance plant with 43 dated ammo. ALso have one or two with 1938 dated ammo and recall is National match. Finding the bandoliers void of the post war repack markings is also getting hard to source or dont see them here to often but will find a couple in footlocker groups from time to time. These were the ones I pulled out of the collection and sold, -
