I've mentioned this before, but the night vision parka with the liner is an amazingly warm piece of clothing. I know a lot of people ask why you need a parka with liner in the desert, and I will tell you it gets VERY cold, especially at night during the winter months. We wore the parkas for warmth. I believe Ludlow used both wire c-catches as well as cut ‘sheet’ catches so there’s no hard and fast rule as to which type of catch a maker used over the period they were producing the badges. -

I found a pair of the trousers in a trift store one time but they would not sell them because they didn't have a price tag.🙃
