Thanx Dustin for your tip,   I didn't notice that, will remove it from the kit, no problem at all. Much likely a Kant - Rust tube rather would be much more correct to stay there, since this kit variant of the contract #2 was meant to have one, instead of lubricants carried in cans. But never found one through almost one year, evidently much more difficult than what I thought.

I have a Medical "Front Window" "Son in Service" hanging cloth.  The soldier's name is William F. Meyer, and he lived in the FORT Wayne, IN., Area.  There are several additional pins attached that reference Concordia Lutheran Seminary, In St. Louis dated 1926.  Meyer could well have been a Lutheran Pastor by, the late "20's.  Any help would be appreciated. Throwing this out there as a potential Actor Who Were There.....In Real Life Then In Movies   This character, named Sparrow in The Longest Day, the Ranger, one who is KIA, never was really credited properly as far as I remember, even recall it was stated he was a Pro Football Player once, His name now is Joseph Lowe and It seems information on him is now available, but its contradictory, so now we see he is stated as being a WWII Ranger who actually fought at Pointe Du Hoc, but he's not listed in the WWII Ranger Roster, One site has him as in the 5th Ranger Battalion, they didn't go in a Pointe Du Hoc, it was the companies from the 2nd, One has him a a Sergeant on active duty still in West Germany, obviously an E-7 or E-8, in the 2nd Battle Group, 505th Infantry 8th Infantry Division, this rings kinda true in this regard with him as The Longest Day is his one and only film and tv credit on IMDB, however that.s were the info stops, we see no other info on him, not even an OBIT.,

This is a better view of the painting I posted earlier. This say's its an 1862 view of the fort.
