I think it is a fake, AlexiK. The sloppy, paint-filled lettering as well as the word “Vietnam” and dates “1969-1970” in the two panels are all poorly done. Hard pass. Anyone else care to “weigh in”?

The name written in is FORCE.  Not sire if that was written in by the original soldier or someone else since it seems like a black marker of some sort.

You say there’s a name inside the uniform, but can you show us a picture of it, that is the name?  For that matter is there any other numbers inside the uniform?

Discharge Stripe and Service Stripe 

Hi fellow collectors,  I got this at a thrift shop and need someone to tell me what the stripes represent please.  Looks like he was a medic corps soldier and a name of Force written on  the inside.  I live in Pennsylvania so not sure if he was Pa soldier.  Has a mgf tag so looks like the real deal.  Thanks in advance for your help.  Jim C 

Full price might have been too high plus not everyone is smart and voila it’s still there but at half price it sold.   Congrats on a very cool find and were you there the first day?
