Yes, those are pretty neat. I don’t know much about it but there is a whole world of collecting kid-sized equipment. I did not have a lot of it when I was young but sure wish I still had it. mikie -

The complete helmet set up is way cool, especially the communications setup. -

These were just delivered today. A stacking swivel and a mid-war vintage operating rod. This op rod and the rear sight were about tied for the biggest expense for this project. These mark the very last items I need for the wall hanger. Though they are not the last that I may want. But sadly, other priorities are needing my attention. I’ll keep you all posted on my progress putting it all together. mikie -

Very nice helmet, always like the look with the painted NVG mount plate. Any writing on the interior? -

Probably early 60s. The base itself was closed by 1971. Randy -

Nice M1 plus the price was right.. The specific year of manufacturer is not available, However, UFH made the M1 from about mid 1943 to the last half of 1945. It was AFH that made 1,100,000, UFH made 600,000. Marv -

Following this thread, I have a pair of RRS (Russian Railway Service Corps) collar insignia. They are 1 11/16" X 1/2". -

Many years ago I picked up from the vet himself a luger with his SSN etched on the side. Now, seeing this one, it makes for sense. It also came with a decaled Heer helmet and some insignia. All gone now. Steve -

Hello everyone. I live on the old continent. English isn't my everyday language, so don't shoot me if there's a mistake. I'm almost retired and now have more time to dedicate to collecting. Almost every year I go on vacation to Normandy, and that's where my interest in collecting WWII jump wings began. That's why my forum name is... 😁 My jump wing collection isn't that large, but it's growing. I have thousands of photos on file of as many variations as possible. I hope to learn new things here on the forum; it seems there's a lot of knowledge about jump wings on this forum. So, here's my first post on this forum.
