So this patch recently popped up on eBay. It was listed as Vietnam era, but I think it is an another production crew patch from the TV series, similar to the Flight Crew patch shown above…which is why I bid on it. Curious what other people’s opinion is. The series was filmed not far from where I grew up and I loved watching a five ship of Corsairs go over our house. John -

Thank you Pat, This man was in his early 50s when he went to Korea. He had some medical issues that would’ve allowed him to leave the army or to at least stay stateside. He chose to go to Korea and be with the men. -

Used to use one of these doing mounted security work. We always referred to it as an "Officer's McClellan." Threw it in the trunk of the car and took to my father to look at and, having grown up in the preWW2 army, he said that is what they called them, too. Said his father, an infantry colonel, had one just like it.
