I missed this one. @ Tonomachi. Congratulations, the wing has found a good home. I don't see any problems with this wing either and don't think any others will turn up. Yesterday I asked the seller where the wing came from, the answer was: I got these wings on an old children’s beanie hat of all things. Researching it, I could tell it was pretty rare. The seller sells all kinds of pins. -

I found these buttons pinned to a piece of fabric at an okd upstate NY estate. One small button (looks like a cap or cuff type, but smaller than normal) may be an 1800s USMC button. One that features an eagle on a shield flanked by flags. The others appear Navy related, but I can't seem to find a positive ID on them through Google image, etc. Only two have maker marks on the reverse. Any help would be appreciated. -

Hello and welcome to this Forum. Your English is much, much better than my non-existent Dutch/Nederlands! -

Yup genuine and one of the sought after ones as it differs from the norm with a flat profile. There are a couple of variations of this particular wing but the identify of the maker is not known. Whoever produced it also made a flat profile paratrooper wing.
