Trying to figure out what canteen's the marines used during the Mexican-American war, 1846-47. Did they use an army version or did they have their own? Also interested to know if the navy used a canteen for their shore parties. Thanks for any insight you might have. Scott -

If I'm not mistaken, it is the Coast Guard issued versions of the EAME/PAC medal that had slot brooch. Very nice addition. I picked up one as well. -

Agreed. I have an absolutely mint Remington 03-A3 that is stamped OG. All parts and stock are correct with minimal wear. Nothing looks replaced or refinished.
