Do these stamps have any collector value?

Roger that, Sergeant Major.   ”Staff weenie” - LOL.  Indeed.   You gave me flashbacks to out-processing.  Specifically the REMF that refused my canteen cup because it had a little sand in the bottom of it.  He couldn’t understand how I would get sand in my canteen cup.  Enough said…   And yes, the (I’ll use nice words here) off-post pawn shops were filled with stolen TA-50 that the barracks rats took down there.  On the rare occasion that we’d catch one of those guys, oooooh buddy…

All I'm able to find on this is the suggestion that it is an unknown Junior ROTC patch, but no details about where and it could be wrong. Have any of you come across one of these?

      Tactical pockets were standard.

Ships ball caps, are NOT, an “Issue” item. The Navy authorizes commands to wear them. This means that each command, separately contracts them. They have specific guidelines (color, what’s allowed on them etc), but the commands have some latitude. I’ve had them plain , with images of the ship, ships logo, squadron logo, alligators for Amphibs, rates, what ever. Many commands give you your first one, when you check in. After that, you buy them in the ships store.   They also sell them in Navy Exchanges for assorted ships, I got my uncle a USS Pennsylvania cap once. But, yeah, doesn’t matter the label, it’s a standard cap.

Wow, a find like that would be placed near my bed so that everytime I woke up in the night I could flip on a flashlight to gaze at it again and again.😉

My brother, I stopped after two “gigs” on this LBE, but you are 100% correct.  The ammo pouches are a soup-sandwich.     I was one of a few in my company that had both a pistol and a rifle weapons card.  I never carried both at once.  And if I did, I surely wouldn’t trade rifle ammo for pistol ammo - ever.  If I would carry a sidearm it was in a tanker holster, so the missing belt holster isn’t odd to me.     The rest is though.

It would say it’s a made up set for cosplay.  As Blacksmith pointed out the loose straps are a big aNO-GO in any formation and something you learned in BCT.  Pistol ammo pouch and m16 magazine pouch, 2 first aid pouches and no room for the pistol?  Neither canteen has the NBC cap….so I know we trained in MOPP gear and you had to hydrate…no way without the NBC caps. neat set but my $ is on post service put together.
