Thank you all for the positive comments. Usually I find these with cracks etc.. This one seems in great shape. Was about half the price you would expect it to go for.. Only one other bidder. Zach! Great to hear from ya friend. I hope all goes good! Dave -

Having a (the) Military Collectibles Shop, we buy a lot directly from both veterans and families of veterans. There have been both highs and lows in dealing with families. But a resounding theme from people selling is "I want this to be somewhere where it will be appreciated". Sometimes that may be with the family, but sometimes the "family" that was so sentimental a week ago about it, comes back in to sell it themselves. Collectors, actually take the time to research, preserve and display and cherish pieces like this. And I think it is more because of collectors and the effort they put into telling the "story behind the items", that the memory and deeds of these brave men will live on well past all of us. -

This is the one with the post Vietnam War insignia. I can’t remember the date of the cover but I believe it was late 60’s -

Basically I bought around 1,600 WWII-era maps (German, Japanese, and American mostly), and I really have no idea what the true value is. I've sold a couple on eBay for anywhere from $50-$300, but I only moved like ~20 out of 1,600. I'd really appreciate anyone's input on how much these might be worth. Thanks! -

Does anyone have any photos of transitional M44 suspenders? I have only been able to find one example online with a little OD3. -

It sure does! I’ll call it the frankenknife. Fortunately, I didn’t pay much for it on EBay. Still need to learn more about the owner, O.V. Wheeler. Thank you for your help, Horseclover!
