Sad to hear rain spoiled your original plans. Glad to see that you made the best of things anyway. That looks like a great display of bikes  in a very interesting museum.  mikie

. . Hi Charlie.   here's the closed cab version of your Diamond T build.  I forgot to say about that Chevrolet pumper that it appears it has only done 337 miles in eighty years.   Thanks Kat, yes Charlie's scratch builds are fantastic and true to life, only pleased that I had some life size examples to share with him.        regards lewis.   ...

Hello Everyone, It's been a minute since I've posted, got caught up in some personal stuff. For any hardcore medical reenactors, I'm asking for a bit of advice on where to find things. My current impression for my 9th ID ETO Medic is an NCO Combat medic, and my Current kit is mostly Red Cross/Post war Items, not too accurate, But works for now. I'm hoping to soon have good displays for upcoming events. I just wanted to know the best place to locate and get accurate items. (Pictured below, pictures are from the WW2 US medical research website) (Also yes gear fanatic, I'm going to save this until after i complete my kit.)

Hey Mike,  Welcome aboard.  I have a lot of past family roots in Canada.  My grandfather served in the 16th Canadian Scottish on the front lines in WWI.  You'll like this forum, tons of great people and information. Ken

To possibly not have to pay. Could I ask for only specific things to minimize the amount of pages and thus the potential bill? You’re probably right, I am over thinking this. I just want to know when he was in Country what unit. That’s it. I doubt that’s how it works (specifying what I am looking for) but it’s worth a shot if ya’ll don’t think it’s out of line

Hey there, my name is Mike.  I started collecting the militaria hobby during 2019, after a visiting, "The Military Museums" in Calgary, Canada (very original name, I know)    My primary collecting interest is headgear from WWII, yet I am also interested in modern militaria.  I have always been interested in the study of history since the days of my childhood - spent far too much time in the school library.  I participate in a WWII militaria forums, yet heard good things about this forums.    With regards to US militaria - the original Call of Duty 4 remains a creative inspiration, and I liked the uniforms worn by the USMC Force Recon.     I like to collect items with a story, so any saltiness, combat wear, or provenance is greatly appreciated.   I am currently seeking a GWOT CVC helmet worn by US tank crew members. Please let me know if you may have one to offer.    Thanks for reading, and best wishes.
