And the patch. Honestly, this is the first time observing the PQMDs product for this unit specific Shoulder Insignia. What's normally encountered are what I like to call the "stable made" First Cavalry Division Shoulder Insignia as shown in the left that has a distinctively lighter colored blue Bend. -

The 12th Cavalry Regiment Distinctive Insignia are hallmarked by Bailey, Bank & Biddle Company (BB&B Bronze). They are clearly illustrated in BB&B Company products catalog as item 29396 - Regimental Coat of Arms, 12th Cavalry.
