Hi, I have been looking into acquiring a tiger stripe shirt. I am torn between gettibg a commercial one from the 1980s and reworking it (moving the hip pockets up to the chest) or getting a used one made by Pike Brothers. The Pike Brothers one is the silver pattern, whereas the commercial ones are the, well... Commercial tiger stripe pattern... What are your opinions on Pike Brothers' repros? I would want to wear it out and about and not for reenacting. What are your thoughts? Cheers, Jules PS: I attached the shirts I am unsure about... The first one is a "ranger" commercial, the second one a commercial with a USMC label for whatever reason and the third is the Pike one... -

Folks, I managed to find the original full-size group photo. Its filename was titled 'officers 1906 McPherson'. Looks like they are all officers from the 17th Infantry Regiment. Perhaps this could help us de-mystify a bit? -

I recently bought an mk.f5e ejection seat from an F-8A. It is the bare structure and frame of the seat so I’m looking for the survival gear, back pads, and parachutes at the moment. If you have any idea where I can acquire an rssk-1 survival container in eligible condition to be sat on, that would be fantastic. Thanks😊 -

Interesting, thanks for that! I'll need to keep my eyes out for that when looking for another set of wings. -

Bumping this old thread. I have a tour jacket in my collection. Apparently belonged to an US Army vet who served with the 10th Mountain division as part of the UNSC backed NATO intervention (SFOR) in the Yugoslav wars. The jacket features this patch. linkhttps://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/2810-tour-jackets/page/3/#comment-3224593
