I think you’re right Jeffro. That makes much better sense. Thanks for figuring that family issue out. It was all just a little confusing to me. I appreciate it! -

Interesting! That makes sense but I thought it may have been the USAV patch but his paperwork initially says HQ FForceV-USARPAC-Vietnam. Later it says HQ IFForceV-USARPAC-Vietnam. Confusing! Thanks. -

This J/O dolphin is currently listed on eBay for $850. The mark looks good and the obverse looks good with the exception of the small holes on the waves below the bow of the submarine. My question concern is that this might be cast and not die struck. Thoughts? -

Man that is beautiful. I am not sure where this gun I have came from. My aunt would buy stuff all the time so there is no telling. -

This one had its plating removed then re-parked. Colt numbered slide and frame, all original minus grips. Replaced pins and springs. 1943 gun. -

So, while I am recovering from missing out on a wonderful British medal group at the Allentown Gun show yesterday (see my entry on the world militaria forums) I did find a French made Type 2 DSC for $75 which I was pretty thrilled to get. It has it's original ribbon complete with the prong holes. So much for small victories. -Ski -
