Absolutely phenomenal! That’s really an amazing grouping.    I love these maps. I’m happy to be corrected, but I see nothing wrong with framing it under UV protective glass.    Is the helmet named? Or any of the other items? I see a faint name on one piece of the HBT there.    Whatever you do, make sure the group stays together! And that the name stays with the map!    Thank you for sharing. Really a wonderful find.

With all due respect to them, I would advise against it. They’ve already got one of these maps, for starters.

Nice ones! What's the "Pan Am" portion referring to?

Old thread, but a couple I've picked up.

I am so old I remember when that was the "Gold Standard" of US military reference books.  Not disparaging current works nor "internet researching", just saying that was the "Bible" back in the day when you ran to the mailbox for lists of stuff for sale after you sent a "prepaid self-addressed, stamped envelope.     OD

Digging through some of these older armor threads has been fun and sad.  A lot has changed.

This is an old one.  I later found another one of these in a collection.  I was told they were given to the Womens Ordnance Workers by one of the armored divisions.

Well the bayonet started out being made FOR the British by Remington Arms; but with the entry of the US into WW1 the US Ord Dept took them for US use and over stamped the Brit markings with US acceptance markings. The Brit Mod 1903 scabbard was used for the Brit issue bayonets but the US developed a similar scabbard that attached to the US belts.
