Cerick hi,   Nice chinstrap - patent numbers appeared late war when suppliers moved back to brass.  Sadly there is no verifiable database that links maker marks and stamps on the chinstraps to the actual supplier. You can find data on M1 components on the US Quartermaster Museum site, need to dig around under Research / Primary sources (sorry I don't recall the exact link). There is a list of chinstrap manufacturers, but the volumes of the contracts issued don't align to the millions of liners produced under contract, one can assume the data base is incomplete or the supply accountability moved to another branch of the QM Corps and those records are held elsewhere.    If there is anyone reading this that has more accurate data, please share.    Cheers

Kinda late to the game here, the cherry of this group here is the middle buckle UDT/SEAL . These were made in Korea and given to each members of the USN NSW  group who trained with South Korean SEALs in a operation. The buckles were made by the South Korean SEALs and given to their USN counterparts as a token of the operation. Rare stuff

Well the sling would have been whatever the receiving unit had on hand and at what time. More and more M1 slings became common into later 1943. I am fond of the webbed M1 sling due to its simplicity and economy of materials….just like the O3-A3 itself.

Great helmet, the part on the top mounted to a rod in the cockpit. That way the canon was aimed at where you looked. Flying around and focussing with one eye on the sight was not what I was made for.
