Yeah, I dont think it would even be authorized to carry. But then again I've heard from vets that back in the early 2000s, equipment worn in combat wasn't strictly regulated like it is today. But more of a souvenir then used equipment. -

Yeah I remember quite well all of those events, Rev War Bicentennial. C.W 125th events, D-Day 40th & 50th. If it was a US envolved War I probably did it. A lot of restoratons, and living history displays. Too many...some I played both sides... -

The 19mm (3/4 inch) buttons might be for the dinner dress uniform. I have WW1 paired buttons used for the mess dress. -

I have purchased these from the veterans spouse sadly the veteran Charles R. Kirkbride III passed away last year he was in the 2nd field force in Vietnam I assume because I found the map of Saigon in the inner pocket his field jacket has his assigned unit the 3rd army unit and the dress uniform has the 2nd field force patch on the right I am wondering the pricing on this grouping thank you -

As for the Visor cover you can scuff the white paint with sandpaper to allow the Olive Drab paint to stick better. The SPH-4B has always been dual visor take off the NVG visor as that isn't accurate to a SPH-4B . -
