      This might already be common knowledge, but has anyone else ever noticed the use of a “WT” M1 Bayonet in Band of Brothers Episode 5?   See screen shots below from right around the 38:37 mark of the ‘Crossroads’ episode.     Also shows Greek numbering on guard so I guess you can add that to the list of ‘inaccuracies’…

      The USNS Kula Gulf T-AKV-8 originally the WW2 escort carrier CVE-108. This ship was transferred to the Military Sealift Transport Service in 1965 and used to ferry aircraft to Vietnam. The Kula Gulf ferried aircraft to and from Vietnam until 1969, it was then stricken from the Navy in 1970. Scrapped in 1971.
