More information about him would be needed.(birth year, year of death, where buried etc.)   John Mark Martin returned 472 memorials. (more info needed).   It takes a large amount of time to research any individual and that's with  much more information than you have provided here.  The more information you have about them, the better your chance of finding something, including their history in the military.   Good luck in your searching!      Steve

Thought I would add another CSA 75th pair to the thread. Joseph Hardin was in the 5th SC Infantry during the Civil War and passed away in 1944 at age 102. This medal was the only medal issued by the US Government to Confederates.
