I would mostly agree, of the four, Narborough Co. badges are probably the hardest to find, but Ludlow is a close second.

Saw this at a local auction this past weekend and decided to bid and got it. I had always been intrigued by WWII knives made from Civil War era swords.  So, not knowing anything at all about swords, I posted several photos on an AI site to see if it could narrow down what sort of sword it was made from.  The AI site asked numerous questions and wanted me to take photos from several different angles and it concluded:  “Your Knife Crafters knife was made from the mid-section of a M1840 German made cavalry saber, almost certainly  a Kirschbaum, originally imported and retailed by Horstmann of Philadelphia.”  So, I went out and found a photo of a Kirschbaum M1840 and looks like the AI assessment might be correct.  As I understand it, Knife Crafters was located in Philly, so seems like a logical match.  There’s a hand-written name on the sheath, but neither I nor AI could determine who it was.  Anyway, it’s a well made knife and it probably had some great stories to tell.

Saw this pair of screw clipped WW2 Glider wings. They say the are "sterling", but I can't make out the Hallmark / Makers mark. There is only a partial pic of the mark. Any ideas?

I recently got these 7 posters included in a package trade - There aren't in my wheelhouse of collecting and I don't know much about them other than they are to promote War Saving Stamps from the First World War. All are original and have been shrink wrapped with a foam backing. Some have small tears on the edges and pin holes where they were tacked on walls, etc, but overall, are in great condition. They all measure about 20"x30". Mucho appreciated on any insight and value on each and/or as a lot. Thanks in advance.

All these Embroidered on Tapes are private purchase, whether the early White ones or the later OD Tapes, these are not Issue Items of insignia, back in the days before computerized  sewing machines, these where made with the old Hand Guided Sewing Machines, thus accounting for the myriad of styles in size or letters and fonts of letter in making these. Tapes like these were made Army Wide at Post PX Tailor departments, both the post Main PX or the PX Annexes found located around the post, or for our purposes, at civilian tailors overseas during the Vietnam War/Cold War.
